There are some which exist

A lot of mini laptops (netbooks specifically) were meant to be a cheap way of browsing the internet. So I would agree with >>27 - Chromebooks have filled that role now

I’m a person who usually only likes old things, so on my Debian I use GNUstep. Obviously, that photo isn’t my PC. Tell me what your favorite Linux desktop environments are and why they’re the best.

It looks pretty good, but... it seems kind of normie to me that it looks like Windows

I already said it earlier: Use what's functional and forget about what seems "normie" and what seems cool.

I’ve discovered a distro that is supposedly the best for security. It’s made so much for paranoids that every time you shut down your PC, everything gets erased (or at least that’s what I read). If you know more about the distro, talk about it in this thread.

ITT post interesting or obscure technology.

Here is a device that syncs with online Go (the board game) software. It's kind of like a game controller.

Good question... I'm sure not. Now I'm realizing that it's probably not for online matches.

Here's what I found online about this:
"Netgoban is an electronic Go board that allows you to enjoy the feeling of a traditional wooden Go board while taking advantage of all the possibilities of online and computer Go.

It may be made out of any normal wood, such as Shin-Kaya, and it is connected to the PC through a USB cable. It detects where you place your stones, and it can indicate where a stone should be placed with a flashing light in the corresponding position. And it's clever enough to figure out where you played even if you slide the stone over the board when placing it! Optional feature is a go clock embedded in the board itself, allowing you not to take your eyes of board until the end of the game."
