R No.44
>>32A tripcode is when you enter any name in the "Name" box at the top and then after your name, you add "#", and after the "#" you can type a password. The password is is a maximum of 8 characters and outputs a random string of numbers and letters. This is used to identify oneself. Normal tripcode example when I type in the name field: My name#balls The output should be "!eHg13QwJnI" as you can see above in the previous post made by myself if you type "balls" as the password. Other notes: You can use 2 "#" to make it more secure. The "#" don't count in the 8 character password. The password will be different from using 1 "#" You can use "!" instead of "#". The output is the same. You can use 2 "!" like how you can use 2 "#". Any letters before the "#" are not counted in the tripcode generation process. If someone knows your tripcode, they can pretend to be you. Any name before the "#" does not effect the tripcode. Some chatacters like "&", when used in the password, count as more than 1 character. It is used for distinguishing purposes. Try using it with basic words (for example: hello, yes, no) to test it out! This is a basic rundown of tripcodes, not an extensive explanation. Some info may be incorrect.
