In this thread, let’s talk about the Chinese game Beijing 2000. Since only the second and third games have been released, let’s focus the discussion on those two. I’ll post a link to the Beijing Videogames page so you can try the games.

The plot of Beijing 2000 is basically that Taiwan starts invading Beijing. To counter the Taiwanese troops, the Chinese government sends Stephen Chow to kill all the enemies. But then the United States gets involved in the war, sending Jews and Americans to invade Beijing along with one of the highest officials, Bill Clinton. Seeing that they are losing, Taiwan resurrects Chiang Kai-shek as a last resort. In the third installment, after defeating the invading troops, China decides it must invade Taiwan, sending Stephen Chow to kill everyone.

Playing Beijing 2000 2 is very easy. You just need to install the Mesen emulator. Once it’s installed, download the game files. That's ridiculous. Of course an old Chinese guy with a website like that (doesn't look like he changed the design since the 90s) is going to make a game with a plot like that.

It reminds me of some other similar RPG game that was banned or not released. I forgot its name. It also had a similar ridiculous plot with George Bush or something like that.

Beijing 2000 3 is pretty fun. the graphics and aesthetic are the same as the other game but it feels more "windows"-y.
It would be cool to play it on hard mode.

The difference between Beijing 2000 3 and Hong Kong 97 is mainly the story. The gameplay style is basically similar, but Beijing 2000 has a more developed storyline. Additionally, there are more Beijing 2000 games.
